Tips for Mobile Deposit

Need to make a deposit but are unable to make it into one of our local branches, No problem! Our Mobile Deposit allows you to snap a photo of the check with your smartphone to make a deposit Anytime, Anywhere. And best of all its FREE!

Just follow the easy Tips below and start saving!

  • If this is your first time using the mobile app, Log into your online banking and go to the Options Tab, Mobile Settings, Web Mobile Settings. Complete the required fields, including choosing all the accounts you would like to view and select Submit. Agree to the Terms and Conditions and select Confirm.
  • Before logging in on your mobile phone, be sure to close all other applications running.
  • Sign the back of your check, and label it “FOR MOBILE DEPOSIT ONLY” clearly.
  • When prompted for the amount, carefully enter the check amount and be sure it matches the amount written on the check.
  • Flatten any folded edges or creases in the check before taking your photos.
  • Keep the check within the view finder on the camera screen when capturing your photos.
  • Put the check on a dark flat background. Try not to get too much of the areas surrounding the check.
  • Take the photo in a well-lit area.
  • Keep your phone flat and steady above the check when taking your photos.
  • Hold the camera as square to the check as possible.
  • Make sure that the entire check image is visible and in focus without shadows before submitting your deposit.
  • Be sure the MICR line (numbers across the bottom of your check) is readable.
  • Retain deposited checks for 10-14 business days to ensure they have posted to your account. After that time, checks should be destroyed.
  • Limits are $5,000.00 per day / $20,000.00 per month.

In an effort to protect our customers and employees by participating in the recommended social distancing, effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020 all banking transactions will be handled through our drive-through facilities or by appointment. Our hours of operations remain the same for the convenience of our customers.

Customers are also strongly encouraged to take advantage of our self-service banking options, including Online Banking, Mobile Banking and Telephone Banking (1-866-255-4188). These 24/7 services allow you to view account information, transfer funds, pay bills, deposit checks (mobile), as well as, find the nearest ATM.

We will continue to refer to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization, and other public health agencies to determine the safest course of action as the situation evolves.
